How to import .resultsbfp into Skyline to create a peptide library shivangi awasthi15418  2025-04-24 09:12

Hi,

I want to create a peptide library in Skyline using a result file created by Biopharma Finder with the extension .resultsbpf. Has anyone tried this and could help with the process? Thanks!

No, Skyline does not know how to read .resultsbpf files.
You can find the complete list of peptide search result formats that Skyline is able to import here:
https://skyline.ms/wiki/home/software/BiblioSpec/page.view?name=BlibBuild

Skyline can understand other sorts of files from Thermo such as ".msf" or ".pdresult".
Those sorts of results you would import into Skyline using the "File > Import > Peptide Search" menu item.

But I don't think we can do anything with a resultsbpf file.

What sort of other data can you export from Biopharma Finder?
If you could export a list of peptide sequences and spectrum numbers you might be able to create by hand something in our ".ssl" format. You can read about the ".ssl" ("spectrum sequence list") format here:
