Skyline export to Chromeleon Andrew  2021-05-12 07:16

Hi,

I was wondering if you could help me. I would like to export out my PRM transition list from Skyline and import directly into the processing method of Chromeleon. I was wondering if this is possible. I have tried all formats and nothing seems to be direct? If it is not possible is this something you are looking into?

Thanks

Andrew

Skyline has a very robust reporting capability - you should check with the authors of Chromeleon to see what kind of text-based import formats they support, it's likely Skyline can generate something that matches.

Thanks for using the Skyline support board,

Brian Pratt

We would need some example files in the format you are looking for. In the past, we have written external tools to take Skyline reports and reformat them for exactly what another software tool is looking for.

Check out:

https://skyline.ms/tools.url

And the tools:

  • MPPReport - Agilent Mass Profiler Pro
  • TFExport - Thermo TraceFinder

These were both funded by the instrument vendor, but we could help the Chromeleon team or anyone else to create something similar, if a custom report cannot be formated exactly as Chromeleon is looking for.

Hi Brendan,

Thanks for the response and apologies for the delayed reply, I got waylaid from this particular problem. I will contact the Cm team and see if I can get a suitable format. I did try the TFExport but unfortunately it isn't in the correct format. I am guessing it wouldn't be much help if I sent you guys a biopharma finder export file that can be imported into Cm?

Thanks again

Andrew

Let's have a look at it, as an example of something that does work it may be useful.
