collision energy prediction for QTRAP 6500+ mark adams  2020-07-01 10:07

Hey Brendan,
We are currently using a SCIEX QTRAP 6500+ platform for protein-based work. Prior to transition list export, would a collision energy prediction setting of 'SCIEX' or 'ABI 5500 Q Trap' be more appropriate for our instrument platform?
Thanks for any input!

Hi Mark,
The latest guidance from SCIEX is to use the one named "SCIEX". The "ABI 5500 Q Trap" entry indicates that you have opened a Skyline document created with older settings. This entry no longer appears by default in more recent versions of Skyline.

Hope this helps to clarify. Thanks for posting to the support board.
