Failed Importing .raw Waters MSe Data mcbagley  2019-11-07 11:51

Hello Skyline team,

I have spent the past while searching previous posts for my particular error and could not find it. I am trying to upload MSe proteomics data acquired on a Waters G2. When I try to import the .raw files I get the attached error. Unfortunately, these data files cannot be shared. The error occurs for any attempted import of these .raw files.

I'm using Window 10 Pro with 64-bit operating system. I'm using Skyline (64-bit) 19.1.0.193.

I do apologize if this is a trivial fix.

Thank you!

That's unusual. Could we see the .raw file, and the Skyline document you're using with it (use Skyline's File>Share>Complete menu item to create a .sky.zip file). You can upload to http://skyline.ms/files.url , or we can arrange something else if you prefer.

Thanks

Thank you for your quick reply, Brian! Let us find another way to get this to you if possible. I have an example file and the Skyline file ready to send to you.

Thank you!

If you want to keep it private, we can use dropbox, google drive, whatever is good for you. I'll contact you off-list.

Got the files, thanks.

Using the current Skyline-Daily, I did have to change the Transitions>FullScan settings for MS1 from Centroided to TOF, as Skyline gave a "no centroided data in this file" warning, but otherwise had no issues loading the data.

Is the data on a network drive? That sometimes causes problems. If so, try copying to your local drive.

Let me know how it works out.
