Can I change the display format for LOQ numbers? TY  2025-11-16 21:18

Hi Team,

Is it possible to change the display format for the LOQ on the calibration curve?
Is it linked to any particular table?

Best,
TY

If you go to the "Quantification" tab at "Settings > Peptide Settings" (or "Settings > Molecule Settings" if you are in small molecule mode) and specify something for "units" then the format of numbers on the calibration graph will be different.

Skyline assumes that if you have specified units for calibration, then you have probably also made it so the analyte concentration etc. are of a scale so that the number all tend to be around 1. However, if you have not specified any units, then Skyline assumes that the scale of everything might be very far off so that only scientific notation can be safely used.

You can also see those in the Document Grid if you create a custom report that includes columns such as "Limit of Quantification".
You can learn about custom reports and the document grid here:

Dear Nick,

Thank you for your advice.

Even if I set the Units under "Settings > Peptide Settings," only the units indicated by the blue arrow in the attached image change.

What I want to change is the format of the LOQ number indicated by the red arrow in the attached image change, but I understood from your explanation that Skyline only allows scientific notation (e.g., 1.0000E+1). Is this understanding correct?

Thank you for your assistance.
