Ion mobility library "Use Results" generally takes care of the problem of using FAIMS data in Skyline (where you get jagged chromatograms without IM filtering), but there's no way to inspect the values directly. (For other IM types we have the heatmap view, but FAIMS isn't really 3D - the CV changes at discrete RTs.)

We should show that CV value somewhere in the raw scan viewer. Exactly where is a design question...

1) On the same line as existing scan details? (not great, already pretty crowded)
2) Split scan details into two lines, and maybe move time down there as well? (my choice but Brendan doesn't love it)
3) Put the CV info on the upper left of graph area? (Brendan's choice, but I worry that it will interfere with peak annotation display)

Note that "option 1" is already implemented, in commit 92a6a5ac605e6255ba3a5398fef04d267fe849fe on 1/19/2021

Not sure how we missed that in the conversation...

It may not have been until Matt’s fix to support SeeMS. But, I remember we saw this implementation once Nick got on our email thread about it.
