We just fielded a support request from someone wanting to add peptide precursors including charge state who had not guessed that we support a special format "PEPTIDER++" for this purpose. This feature would be more discoverable if we included simple columnar access to it in the Edit > Insert > Peptides form, by adding a "Include charge state" checkbox at the bottom that would add a Charge column to the grid allowing users to paste numeric charges for the precursors they want to include.

Here is the support thread where it is also suggested that we could support tabular PEPTIDER\tcharge in direct pasting to the Targets view.
