Peptide quantitation anhdao darcy  2026-01-27 13:35

Hello,
I have attached the peptide quantitation results, which are reported in femtomoles (fmol). Are these values expressed as fmol/µL? All samples were injected using a 10 µL volume, and I need to confirm if the results are in fmol/µL. Should I divide the reported fmol values by the injection volume (10 µL) to obtain fmol/µL, so that I can accurately convert them to nanomolar (nM) concentrations?
Thank you
Anhdao

On the "Quantification" tab at "Settings > Peptide Settings" there is a box "Units" where you can specify what text you want Skyline to display next to concentration values.
Skyline does not actually understand anything about units-- it just displays those units on the X axis of the calibration curve and in the Quantification column in the document grid.

You tell Skyline the concentration of your external standards by filling in the "Analyte Concentration" values in the Replicates report in the Document Grid. The units of the values in the Analyte Concentration column will be the same as the units in all other places in Skyline.
