Unable to install Skyline hudda khan63  2025-09-09 20:07

Hello,
I am trying to install the 64-bit Skyline setup, but I'm getting the "An error has occurred writing to the hard disk" message. Could you possibly help fix this issue? I'm using a 64-bit operating system. There is enough space on the hard disk (C), and write permissions are enabled. I have tried running it as an administrator, but it still gives the same error.

I have not seen an error message like that before.
What do you see when you push the "Details" button? If it shows you some sort of log file please send us the file.

Hi Nick, thanks for your response. I have attached the log file. Thanks.

The error in that log file was:
Downloading https://skyline.gs.washington.edu/software/Skyline-release-64_25_1/Application Files/Skyline_25_1_0_237/cdt.dll did not succeed.
Received an unexpected EOF or 0 bytes from the transport stream.

That looks like a network problem.

If you are unable to get the regular installer to work, you can use the "unplugged" installer instead:
