GPF Method generation for Stellar maithreyan kuppusamy  2025-06-06 00:30

Hi,

I am trying to use PRM conductor to generate the GPF method for Stellar. But I get some error (I have attached a screenshot). Could you please let me know what could be wrong here?

best,
Maithy

Hi Maithy,

Would you mind to zip up your Skyline document with File / Share, and check Include Results files? If it is too big to upload here, I can provide a link for you to share it on Panorama? Also, which version of PRM Conductor are you using, and which version of the Stellar MS software?

Thanks
Philip

Hi Philip,

Thanks for your quick response. Initally I was just using the file from panaroma walkthrough and it errored out becuase the Adaptive RT DIA was still there. Then I generated a method file from the stellar workstation software, then it gave me a different error.

I am using the latest version of skyline daily and PRM conductor.

Stellar software version - 1.0.4354.0

Thank you very much!

Best regards,
Maithy

Thanks for the details Maithy. I could reproduce the problem, and it looks like I have a version compatibility issue with the method export, where the new PRM Conductor is not working correctly with Stellar 1.0.4354, but only with the 1.1 Stellar software that is not quite released here https://thermo.flexnetoperations.com/.

I will work to get a new PRM Conductor version with backwards compatibility made and post something for you here. In the meantime, you may be able to downgrade your PRM Conductor version to still do the older walkthroughs...sorry for the inconvenience!

Thanks,
Philip

I've checked in on this, and it looks like there is a mismatch in the assemblies between the 1.0.4384 Stellar software and the 1.1 PRM Conductor suite, as far as the method export machinery goes. The most that I'm going to be able to do is include better error handling of this condition in a 1.1 build, with an informative message to the user. I've been told that the Stellar 1.1 software will be available to general users the first week of July, let's hope that this happens, I'll try to report it here.
