Can you import a UV trace too? baileyls  2025-03-20 06:40

I have an LC-UV-MS data file. We are looking for targets in the extracted sample that are all UV active but also want mass spec confirmation. I was able to successfully import my target list and data file. I have reviewed the EICs for my targets but wanted to confirm UV detection at the EIC retention times as well. I'm unsure how to view the UV trace, or if the UV trace can even be viewed in Skyline?

I don't think you can see your UV trace in Skyline.
There are some things like Pressure Traces that you can see in Skyline.
If the extracted chromatograms came from raw files that had pressure traces then there would be a "View > QC" menu item (or "QC" on the chromatogram right-click menu) with some menu items under it for showing the different pressure traces.
It it is possible to see UV traces in Skyline then that "View > QC" menu item would be where you would be able to find them.
I do not know much about UV traces, but I doubt it is possible to see them in Skyline.
