Can the "concentration multiplier" field be updated from the command line? Will Thompson  2023-11-01 13:15

Hi Team,

Can the concentration multiplier field be updated from the command line? Looking to import/update a document (example attached) with Concentration Multiplier values from the Molecule Quantification report/document grid but I'm not sure if this can be done from command line or not. Please advise.

Cheers,

Will

You can import that value using the menu item "File > Import > Annotations"

We are working on making it so that "Import Annotations" can be done from the command line.

So, yes, you will be able to import that value from the command line in a few weeks, but it's not available yet.

What is the format for importing the "concentration multiplier" field, and updating this field for the compound list, as an annotation? Using file/import/annotation with the file I attached reports an error. If this is documented somewhere already, I apoloigize.

Thanks Nick!

Cheers,

Will

There is a different menu item:
File > Export > Annotations

The primary purpose of the export annotations menu item is to tell you which properties can be exported for each of the different types of objects in Skyline and to tell you what format the CSV file should have.

In order to set a property on something you need to know its element locator which you would typically figure out by exporting a report which included a column with "Locator" in its name).
