I want to make a dimer peptide of two monomers each with 9 aa (eg. LVCIALRKK-NH2) linked by a single disulphide bond between the third cys of each monomer. Is that possible with skylink?

Skyline does not yet support this. Can I ask if you have a standard way of referring to this type of dimer peptide? Is there an accepted shorthand for specifying what you describe?

Lots of labs have done cross-linking experiments by either 1) adding the peptide in once and then treating the other cross-linked peptide (in this case the second peptide bound to the Cys by a disulfide) as a modification or 2) treat the entire dimer as a "small molecule".
