Need help finding a tutorial sean davidson  2019-02-21 12:29

About a year ago, I worked through a tutorial that I thought was from you guys. It was about using DDA data to compare plasma samples that had been spiked with known amounts of a few proteins. The tutorial took you through how to analyze the data and make comparisons. Trouble is that I can't seem to find that tutorial again. Am I imagining this?! Any help appreciated. Thanks.

That is Skyline Tutorial Webinar 8: DDA to Targeted: Differential Statistics with Skyline

There is a complete list of the webinars here:

https://skyline.ms/wiki/home/software/Skyline/page.view?name=webinars

I see now that the DDA tutorial (a.k.a. MS1 Full-Scan Filtering) lacks a link to this tutorial, which I will fix today.

Hope this helps. Thanks for posting to the Skyline support board.

Many thanks Brendan! I looked through the Webinar page, but I guess I was a little thrown off by the title and thought it was about moving from DDA to targeted methods.

Well, it is about taking DDA data and using a group comparison to narrow down you list to set of candidates that you could then do targeted analysis on.

At least that is how I thought about it in creating the webinar.

Glad it seems useful. Enjoy.
