Error while exporting methods on Thermo TSQ Altis hober  2019-02-06

Hi,
I was really happy to see that you included support for exporting methods for the Altis in the latest version of Skyline. However, I have an issue while exporting. When I try to save the method I get the following error message:

ERROR: TNG Method is not valid

I am currently running Skyline 4.2.0.19008 on the instrument computer, which runs Windows 7.
The system also has version 4.2.28.14 of Xcalibur and I have tried the template method with both a particular dwell time and cycle time, but neither works.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Best

Hi Andreas,

Did you see this support thread?
https://skyline.ms/announcements/home/support/thread.view?entityId=251740d7-cbe9-1036-894e-e465a393d561&_docid=thread%3A251740d7-cbe9-1036-894e-e465a393d561

Possibly it helps? If not, we will have to work this out carefully since that error isn't coming from Skyline, it's coming from the Thermo side.

Best Regards

Hi Brian,

I have now had some time to look through the other thread. Skyline now manages to export the methods, however, all of them turn out to have empty transition lists. I guess this is the same issue that Kristin describes in the other thread.

Has there been any progress on this issue?

Best regards
Andreas

Hi Andreas,
I am working on this with Thermo. It looks like we need an update to the DLLs we have from them for method export:

Thermo.TNG.MethodXMLFactory.dll
Thermo.TNG.MethodXMLInterface.dll

(version 2.0.0.0 last updated 10/14/2016)

I believe we just need to get an update of these libraries and I am working on that. Hope to have a fix for this relatively soon.
