Hello,

I am trying to export a method for an SRM experiment and I've gotten an error message saying "invalid XML, mass list errors". Is there any troubleshooting that you can recommend? I'm not sure if the problem is with the skyline file or if it's some sort of compatibility problem with the template file. It may not be relevant, but I'm attempting SRM on peptides without discovery data/a spectral library.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions or insight.

Can you send us your files? I can take a look.

In Skyline, you can use the menu item:
File > Share > (complete)
to create a .zip file containing your Skyline document and supporting files.

If that .zip file is less than 50MB you can attach it to this support request.
Otherwise, you can upload it here:
https://skyline.ms/files.url

Can you also attach your template file?

The error message sounds like it has something to do with the template file.
Let me know what you typed into the Export method dialog, and I will try to reproduce this problem and see what is going wrong.

Hi Laura,
I am sure this will become apparent with the files Nick has requested, but could you tell us what type instrument you are exporting this method for?

And, as Nick suggests, a screenshot of the method export form just before you click OK and get this error would be helpful.
