In our first webinar in over a year, 223 participants joined Brendan MacLean (Skyline Principal Developer) and Deanna Plubell (Targeted Proteomics Researcher) as they presented Skyline's newest tutorial, Using data independent acquisition to inform the development of triple quadrupole assays. Deanna shared her lessons from previous work with the MacCoss lab, where she observed that DIA data is a better predictor of peptide performance in targeted triple quad assays. Deanna's presentation and tutorial walkthrough covered DIA methods to sample the proteome in a more comprehensive manner, and revealed why the type of information we can obtain from these experiments is helpful for target selection. The webinar concluded with a great Q&A session which produced some worthwhile depth and texture to the presented material.
