Looking for IM information in large libraries introduces a perceptible lag - this needs to be done more efficiently. For the moment it is just disabled for peptides.

I am sure this is related to Henry’s be work on lookups for the spectral library explorer which we may just want to disable for proteomics as the value seemed low. Extra indexes should be built on a background thread and not block viewing the library until a lookup type is chosen.
Gotta fix this for 21.2.

Dear Brendan,
I also noticed that when you select View/Spectral Libraries Skyline-daily v21.1.1.316 freezes for 30-60 sec when having a large library already built. This happens in tutorial 4 when analyzing DIA data, although maybe it is expected due to the size of the library.
