From Sue Abbatiello at Thermo:

The RF Lens should have a m/z dependency for peptides, and I’ll work on getting you a default equation. Kerry Hassell from our NJ demo lab has been looking into this and get you what you need.

As for the Quantiva and Endura method editor, the RF Lens can be set in 3 different ways.
1. There is a check box in the ME that says “use tuned RF Lens”. If this is checked, the software uses the values (based on m/z) determined during the tune step from the calibrant ions. They are not listed in the method editor.
2. Unchecking the box will activate the “RF Lens” input that can be a single value for the entire method.
3. Clicking the grid icon to the left of the RF Lens input box will put that field as a column in the SRM table. When it is in the grid, it is added to the right of the CE column. In order for someone to import a Skyline transition list, they’d have to have the SRM grid set up to this format for the line-by-line RF values to be imported.

I will have to check and see what the Vantage and the Quantum Ultra have (Mary may be able to help with that). If there is anything else you need to know, just say the word!
