Title»Attempt to make Skyline ignore spectra from incorrect mass analyzer type
Assigned To»kaipot@u.washington.edu
Type»Todo
Area»Skyline
Priority»3
Milestone»3.2
It was just reported on the support board that a file imported with mixed MS1 scans from Orbitrap and QIT ends up producing strange results, because we ignore the mass analyzer in choosing spectra to extract from, and hence extract from both types of scans when the mass analyzer type Orbitrap is specified in the Transition Settings - Full-Scan tab in the MS1 section:

https://skyline.gs.washington.edu/labkey/announcements/home/support/thread.view?rowId=22394

If possible, we should detect the mass analyzer type of the spectra, and only filter from it when it matches the full-scan settings.
