Just as we were discussing for CoV, we should be limiting CE to some reasonable minimum, like 1 or 0.5. Then any set of steps that would result in a lower value should just get the minimum for as many steps as necessary. This is important for importing the results with each expected step being represented, and just repeating the minimum should not impact the optimal value. Though, we will also need to enforce the minimum in the calculation of optimized values, in case, for instance the 3rd minimal value ends up with the highest peak area. We don't want to end up choosing an optimal values that ends up negative, either.
