Title»Discrepancies in point count
Assigned To»Nick Shulman
Type»Defect
Area»Topograph
Priority»1
Milestone»3.1
The number of points reported in the "PointCount" columns is not always accurate. Example: CG3661-PA in the recomputed evincow_20141112 workspace. For this protein, PointCount is listed as 30, GBA1 PointCount as 14, and revertant PointCount as 17. When I actually count the non-rejected replicates, the total and GBA1 counts are correct but the revertant count is only 16.

This kind of discrepancy is very frequent and seems to be random. It's important because each protein must have at least 15 points per cohort to be included in analysis. I might be rejecting or including proteins incorrectly.

Thanks!
