A Skyline user posted a support request about using BlibBuild to build a library from a SSL file and a vendor raw data file:

https://skyline.gs.washington.edu/labkey/announcements/home/support/thread.view?rowId=5556

It should be made clearer on the SSL documentation page that this is currently disabled in BlibBuild, and we should also evaluate the impact of enabling it. It seems it might not be that great, since we already have all the required DLLs in the same directory as BlibBuild.exe for Skyline. Though we would probably still want a build variant, even for Windows, that builds without the DLLs to allow for a simpler stand-alone BlibBuild.exe.

The documentation part should be done relatively soon, but the evaluation part can wait until it is convenient. It is not super high priority.

The user that posted this to the support board seems to feel it used to work. So, this may just be a build issue that began when you took over building BlibBuild.exe from me. Please have a quick look to see if you can fix your build to make this work again. Then we would need a test to avoid breaking it again.
