For MS1 filtering, which is less selective than SRM, it is desirable to have the y-axis always scaled to the "best peak", as is currently possible for the x-axis, using Auto-zoom X-axis > Best Peak. The only option for the y-axis, however, is "Auto-scale Y-axis", which when set scales the y-axis to the most intense point visible in the graph, even as you zoom and pan, which is extremely useful is you want to look at anything other than the best peak.

Still, having x-axis scaling fixed to best display the best peak has been requested, and it should not be that hard to achieve, though it will need to be an optional setting, and cannot take the place of the existing auto-scaling, which responds to zooming and panning.

This was an actual user request that should not be hard to achieve.

Let's do this along with new x-axis zooming that shows both the original Skyline-chosen peak and the currently chosen peak.

Seems like your area now, Rita. Still seems like a reasonable idea, and fairly easy to add to the chromatogram properties form.
