Title»N- and C-terminal protease combinations

Hi Brendan,

I did a double enzyme digestion with both trypsin (cleaves c-terminal) and ASP-N (cleaves n-terminal) on some samples that I'd like to look at in Skyline. However, it appears to me that for each 'enzyme' in Skyline you can only specify either C-terminal or N-terminal. Could you tell me how to set up a digestion for Trypsin+ASPN where I specify C-terminal to K/R and N-terminal to D/E?

Cheers,
Jason

Maybe the solution is to make the Digestion Enzyme field a check list so that you can select more than one protease at a time, rather than being forced to define protease mixtures in terms of a single element in the Enzyme list. Would that work for you, Jason? Seems to me like it would simplify things a bit.

Yeah, that would work.

I made it possible to specify multi-directional single enzymes instead, because making enzyme choice multiple selection proved too complicated for the time I had available to support this.
