Dear Brendan

As always, thank you very much for your continued work with SkyLine. Very nice to see the news (especially the MS1 filtering tool) in version 1.2.

One question for you, does a peak have to be “hard-linked”/directly correspond to an MS/MS sequencing event? For instance could I make identification in DDA mode and then “map across” those identifications to an MS only run of the same sample using the same gradient? For older QTOFs especially the fullscan datapoints may be quite far apart due to the slow MS/MS speed…

Similarly, could I give mass (and possibly Rt) coordinates (very much like an XIC) and query for instance an MS only run?

So what I guess my question boils down to is, will SkyLine MS1 filtering be capable of peak picking in MS-only data?

Sorry to bug you with this, but any and all input would be much appreciated.

Much obliged

Best regards

Hi John,
Could you please post this to the support board? Help > Support in Skyline. This is the issues list, where entries are expected to be more formal feature specifications or confirmed bug reports, not questions about Skyline functionality.

Thanks. Sorry for the confusion.
