Title»a few issues with "Use Results" in ion mobility libraries
Assigned To»Brian Pratt
Type»Defect
Area»Skyline
Priority»3
Milestone»23.1
Per email conversation with Brendan and Brian Oct 26 2022. (Note: when addressing this, check the issues list for any others in this area, e.g. #759)

1) The Adduct column is the only column where if you enter a poorly formatted adduct it reverts to the prior value without issuing an error.

2) Apparently, we accept [M-CH]++++++ as an adduct. And we convert [M-CH], +6 to the longer form. I didn't know that adducts could have charge states outside the brackets.

3) If you don't have any results, the Use Results button stays active but doesn't do anything. Telling the user to import results would be better.

4) When you choose "None" for the ion mobility units, your ion mobility value doesn't get saved, but your High Energy Offset does get saved. Neither is removed from the UI until you OK and re-open.
