Hi Brendan,
I have a document with a single peptide in it and i'd like to import some data. However, to import data it says that I need to save the document, but when I try to save the document i get the error "Document must be fully loaded before it can be saved..."
I've attached a screenshot. As you can see, it is 'fully loaded' and reeady and i haven't done anything but paste in the 1 peptide. I'd send the file to you.... but I can't save it, nor can I share it since it has to be 'fully loaded'.
Any ideas whats going on?
Jason

Hi Jason,
In the Library tab for the Peptide Settings, do you have any libraries checked? I know sometimes you have a quite a few.
All of the libraries for a document must be loaded for the document to be considered fully loaded. If you uncheck all of your libraries, I would expect the problem to go away.
Without further investigation, I can't say why a certain library might not be loaded.
If this is the issue, I'll still keep this bug as a reminder to improve the message to list things Skyline considers not fully loaded to make the issue clearer in the future.
Thanks for the report.

I didn't have any libraries checked at the time, so i don't think that was it. Oddly enough, while I reproduced that error about 3 times in a row (even typing the peptide in by hand and not copying it) I can no longer reproduce it. Works perfectly fine. Maybe it was a library thing.
Anyways,
Jason
