Title»Add "Thermo TSQ Quantiva" to transition settings
Assigned To»Alex MacLean
Type»Defect
Area»Skyline
Priority»3
Milestone»3.6
Hi,
Our group just had a thermo TSQ Quantiva in and want to use MRM on the instrument. However, when I did the transition setting of collision energy in Skyline, "Thermo TSQ Quantiva" couldn't be found.
If adding the instrument myself, I was asked to input the "slope" and "intercept".
Could you help us to solve the problem? Thanks a lot!

Yuanyuan

I just found this one assigned to Alex, which doesn't make much sense, but apparently it was posted directly to the issues list by a user.

I kind of agree that we should probably create a CE predictor for Quantiva, even if it is exactly the same as the Vantage. Otherwise, we are leaving some question of whether this is really the best thing to use. Much better if we (you, Kaipo, me and Sue Abbatiello) decide what Quantiva users should be using and make the explicit in the Skyline UI.

Sue, do you have any thoughts on this? Should we just use the Vantage values? I expect this is what most people have been doing? Do you have better values for the linear equations? Want to run new experiments?

Let us know, and Kaipo will add this for the next release.

Sue gave use the following settings, which she said had been experimentally derived:

2, 0.0339, 2.3597
3, 0.0295, 1.5123
