Hi,
When trying to export a method I am getting the following error (see attached screen shot): "An error occurred attempting to export. Error generating Quanpedia databank".
I am running Skyline on a Windows 7 PC, with Masslynx 4.1 SCN810. The template MS method is the VerifyETemplate.exp file posted here. I am not sure what Quanpedia has to do with this process.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Yishai

Hi Yishai,
Thanks for posting this. I was recently alerted of this issue by a contact at Waters, and my development contact at Waters has identified the problem in the Waters libraries Skyline uses to export Waters methods. He has also sent me a proposed MassLynx fix, which I need to verify, hopefully this week. Then the fix should get incorporated into a future SCN.

Until then, you have two options:
1. Use a different machine to export your methods. I believe even Windows 7 32-bit will work.
2. Export a Waters transition list, and use Waters software (VerifyE) to import the transition list into a method.

Good luck! I will resolve this issue when I have enough information to know a real fix is on the way.

Waiting on some help from Waters on this one. Everyone got busy before ASMS. Hopefully can get their attention again post-ASMS.
