Title»Implement custom ion support
Assigned To»brendanx@proteinms.net
Type»Defect
Area»Skyline
Priority»3
Milestone»1.2
The precursor and transition pick lists should contain edit boxes that allow the user to specify a chemical formula or m/z decimal value to support various request that have been made for tracking things like detergents and internal fragment ions. It should also be possible to implement this to support small molecule MRM.

It has been suggested that internal fragment ions are also desirable. The edit box UI could also accept a series of amino acids found anywhere in a peptide.

The explanation above is not exactly how we have chosen to do it, but you own the custom ion branch now, and you can resolve this once it is committed to trunk.

This was fixed by the addition of custom ions to the Transition Settings - Filter list.
