It sounds like something has gone wrong with your Skyline installation.
I would recommend that you uninstall Skyline and install it again from the Skyline website.

Hi Nick,

I reinstalled and am still receiving the same error message. Any other ideas?

Thanks

Actually, it appears that Skyline does not include "OFX.Core.Contracts.dll" with its installer.

One thing that I believe would fix this problem for you would be to install the "Administrator Installer" instead of the regular Skyline installer.
The administrator installer can be installed here:
https://skyline.ms/wiki/home/software/Skyline/page.view?name=install-administator-64

Skyline stopped including "OFX.Core.Contracts.dll" in the regular installer starting in version 21.1. I am not sure why we have not had more complaints about this file being missing. It might be that there is some SCIEX software which you could install on your computer which would cause "OFX.Core.Contracts.dll" to be put in a place where Skyline could find it.

I will look into fixing this in an upcoming release of Skyline-Daily.

By the way, could you send me the .wiff (and probably the .wiff.scan file that goes with it) file that you were trying to extract chromatograms from?
I suspect that "OFX.Core.Contracts.dll" is only required when reading certain types of wiff files, and it would be very helpful if I could test with the file that you were having trouble with in order to make sure that the Skyline installer problem gets fixed.

If your .wiff (and .wiff.scan) files are less than 50MB you can attach them to this support request.
You can upload larger files here:
https://skyline/files.url

Hi Nick,

Thanks for your help. I downloaded and installed the administrator software and sent a request for access. Please find the *wiff file attached this data is from a SCIEX 6500 QQQ.

Matt,

I think you can fix your Skyline installation by copying the attached file "OFX.Core.Contracts.dll" into the folder that contains Skyline.exe.
It is a little tricky to find where "Skyline.exe" is, since it gets installed in an obfuscated folder name under "AppData/Local/Apps/2.0/..." in your home directory.
One way to find where Skyline.exe would be to bring up Task Manager while Skyline is running. Go to the "Details" tab in Task Manager and find "Skyline.exe". Right-click on Skyline.exe and choose "Open file location".
This will bring up Windows Explorer on the folder that contains Skyline.exe.
You should save the attached file "OFX.Core.Contracts.dll" in that folder.
