Keybord shortcut for setting non-quantitative transition Juan C. Rojas E.  2022-02-01 12:32

Hi all,

Is there a keyboard shortcut for setting a transition as non-quantitative?

I know it is not that many clicks with the mouse, but just wondering if it is actually possible to do these even more lazily as I curate manually fragment ion transitions.

Hi Juan,
There is not. We have never implemented keyboard shortcuts for things that are not on the main menus. So, I think we would need to put that on the Edit menu somehow, and then we would list the shortcut in the menu.

Not sure we will do that, however. But, remember that you can use multiple selection to select as many transitions as you want at a time and set them to non-quantitative, and you can switch to using the Document Grid, where you can add a checkbox column for this. Which allows you to sort and filter, and again use multiple selection and Fill Down.

So, there should be some really powerful ways to bulk set transitions to non-quantitative, even if there is not a keyboard shortcut.

Hope this helps. Thanks for posting to the Skyline support board.
