Train Drift Time predictor - "Skyline Drift Time Predictor Training" tutorial s1899812  2020-11-09 04:14

Hello,

I am following the "Skyline Drift Time Predictor Training" tutorial and when I was going to train the drift-time predictor on page 17/26, the Prediction tab under Peptide Settings is only showing me a "Retention time predictor", but not a "Drift time predictor". I have attached an image to show this.

Do I need to do anything to add the Drift time predictor?

The link to the tutorial can be found: https://skyline.ms/_webdav/home/software/Skyline/%40files/tutorials/DriftTraining-3_1_1.pdf

Thanks
Joan

Hi Joan,

Apologies, it looks like that link has not yet been updated for the newly revised user interface for ion mobility filtering. I will get that fixed today.

For the moment, be aware that ion mobility filtering has moved to the Transition Settings dialog, and has its own tab.

Thanks for using the Skyline support board!

Dear Brian,

Thank you for your prompt fix, it's really appreciated.

I see from your comment that the new version still mentions Peptide Settings, while this is now done through the Transition Settings. I think I've followed the right steps, but a new revised version capturing these changes would be very helpful :)

Thank you

Joan

Hi Joan,

Thanks for the note. While that's a more recent version, it's not the current version. We should have the current version posted today, I believe. It wasn't as ready as I thought, apparently.

Best,

Brian
