using external calibration curve?

Hi,

is it possible with Skyline to use the calibration curve acquired for a molecule X and apply it to another molecule Y? This will allow to do semi-quantitative analysis of molecules which do not have a specific calibration curve.

If it is not possible, do you have a way to export the calibration curve equation determined in Skyline? Like this, we could use it in excel to perform concentration calculation.

Cédric, There is no way that I can think of to get Skyline to use the calibration curve from one molecule with a different molecule. You can export the slope and intercept of the calibration curve using the Document Grid. The columns are located under: Proteins > Peptides > Calibration Curve (if in Proteomics Mode) or Molecule Lists > Molecules > Calibration Curve (in Mixed or Molecule modes) If you want to learn more about the Document Grid you can look at the Custom Reports tutorial: https://skyline.ms/wiki/home/software/Skyline/page.view?name=tutorial_custom_reports -- Nick
