Importing several .wiff2 files jakobsen  2018-12-13 03:52

When using Skyline Daily it's not possible to import several raw-flies at a time and some of the fail.
Importing the files one at a time works perfectly fine.

Are you seeing any sort of error message?

Can you send us your files?
In Skyline, you can use the menu item:
File > Share > (complete)
to create a .zip file containing your Skyline document and supporting files.

You should also send us some of your .wiff files. (I'm not sure what a .wiff2 file looks like-- maybe you also have to send us a .wiff.scan too or something?)

If those files are less than 50MB then you can attach them to this support request.
Otherwise, you can upload them here:
https://skyline.ms/files.url

Thanks for getting back to me - sorry for not including more detailed information.
I get the following error message:

At 10:05:
Failed importing results file 'O:\x500B\MWS\20180719\for skyline\NIST_NEM_rep1.wiff2'.
[WiffFile2Impl::ctor()] Resolution of the dependency failed, type = "Clearcore2.Data.Contracts.IDataProvider", name = "Clearcore2.DataService.Provider.CalibrationDataProvider".
Exception occurred while: while resolving.
Exception is: NullReferenceException - Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

At the time of the exception, the container was:

I've uploaded my Skyline document and the ".wiff2-associated data files" in the zip -file "for skyline_wiff2_import".

I've had this problem with more datasets - the one I've uploaded is actually the one that got furthest in uploading files - it might be due to the small dataset or the very small database (only NISTmAB heavy and light sequences)?

A fix is in testing now. Thanks for the report!
