Most shortcuts on Start Page do not work (Skyline Daily 4.1.9.18287)

Hi,

just a minor issue and not sure whether this was reported before, but I noticed that on the Start Page of Skyline Daily 4.1.9.18287 (Windows 10) actually only the shortcut to "Blank Document" works. All others show a description when hovering over them but nothing happens after clicking.

Thanks for reporting this. It's a known issue - if you click at the bottom of the control it should work. We have a fix for this (https://github.com/ProteoWizard/pwiz/pull/202), it just needs a code review. - Brian Pratt

Actually, we rolled back to the old behavior of cutting off the description and adding an ellipsis "..." at the end in the latest Skyline-daily release (4.1.9.18301) which will be released as Skyline 4.2. The start page should again work as it had for years before the recent changes. We'll give improving it another shot in the next cycle. Thanks for reporting it, Markus. Sorry I didn't mention the fix in the latest Skyline-daily release notes emailed with 4.1.9.18301. I have updated them, in case anyone reviews them on the website. --Brendan
