Exporting data to skyline from UNIFI software and Xevo G2-Xs Q-TOF martin jutras  2018-10-19 13:15

We are implementing a metabolomic analytical service with our Waters Xevo-G2-XS QTOF.

However, it is running ONLY with UNIFI for both acquisition and data processing (no mass lynx software…).
Is there a way that Skyline can upload data from UNIFI?
UNIFI is a database, and there are no raw files I guess as in the case for Masslynx.

Skyline-Daily supports extracting chromatograms from a Unifi server.
To use this feature in Skyline-Daily, use the menu item:
Tools > Options > Remote Accounts > Edit List
to add your Unifi server and account information.

Then, when you do:
File > Import > Results
you can push the "Remote Accounts" button, and you should be able to navigate the folders on your server and find the file you want.

Let me know if anything about this does not work for you. I have tested this feature on the one test server that I had access to. I hope that I have included all of the necessary options for it to work with your server as well.

The other way to get data from the Unifi server is by using MSConvert. MSConvert comes with ProteoWizard, and there's a "Browse Network Resource" dropdown button at the top. You can use MSConvert to create a .mzML file from your data.
