Bug: 2M+H adducts cannot be extracted and give error Yasin  2018-10-01 08:39

Hello Skyline Team,

I have the following problem:
When I create a Skyline Method with a transition list including a [2M+H] adduct the [2M+H] adduct is not extracted and also the Skyline file cannot be reopened after it is saved and closed (Failure opening D:....sky The file contains an error on line 1220 at column 9.).
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in avance
Yasin

Hi Yasin,

I don't think you're doing anything wrong. From here it appears that Skyline is having trouble calculating the isotope distribution for C5H5N5[2M+K].

We will investigate and get back to you ASAP.

Thanks
Brian Pratt

Thank you for reporting this bug. This bug happens whenever you have an adduct which has both a mass multiplier (2M) and protonation (+H).
This bug will be fixed in the next update of Skyline-Daily which will probably be a few days from now.
