Can not see mass acq of extracted MS signals in chromatogram window henrik molina  2018-08-29 11:59

We are on most recent version of Skyline Daily. After the recent update we can no longer see the mass accuracy on the extracted LC-MS signal - only RT is displayed. Pls let us know how to get mass acq back.

Cheers, h

Hi Henrik,
Have you checked right-clicking in the chromatogram plot to make sure Mass Error is checked in the right-click popup menu?

That is the best place to start. Though it is unlikely that an upgrade was the cause of a change in that setting.

Let us know what you find.

Problem fixed. We used QQQ settings to extract Orbitrap data.

That would have been my next place to look. If you use QIT as the mass analyzer and an explicit resolution, even if that resolution value is quite narrow (though constant over the entire m/z range), we don't show mass error. You need to use one of Centroided, TOF, Orbitrap or FT-ICR to even have the option to show mass error.

Thanks for posting your solution to the support board.
