The Tow Center for Developmental Oncology at MSKCC is seeking a highly motivated scientist with experience in proteomics and biochemistry. The Senior Research Scientist will be part of the Molecular Therapeutics Initiative, dedicated to the development of improved models of childhood cancers and mechanism-based translational science, with the aim to enable improved therapies for patients. As Senior Research Scientist you will participate in the execution of biochemical and molecular studies supporting the Tow Center and collaborating investigators. You will have a central role in the proteomic analysis of tumor samples using advanced analytical techniques, including mass spectrometry proteomics and single-cell protein and nucleic acid profiling. Under guidance, you will establish SOPs, develop analytical methods, and optimize experimental protocols. You will be part of a collaborative effort in an ambitious project and are therefore expected to be organized, flexible, and an excellent team player.
