Error parsing spectrum while building a library pamrollahi  2020-05-18 07:41

Hello,
I am trying to build a new library using a ".msf" file exported from PD and get this error (attached snapshot).
I was wondering if anyone here has faced such an issue and can kindly help me solve it.
Thanks!
Pouya

Can you send us your .msf file?
If that file is less than 50MB you can attach it to this support request.
Otherwise, you can upload it here:
https://skyline.ms/files.url

Hello Nick,

I have uploaded the .msf file through the link.

Thanks,

Pouya

I was able to successfully build a .blib file from the file "New TNBC_final.msf" file that you uploaded.

I just noticed that your error message is saying something about "NEW TBBC_file.pdresult". It might be that I need to see that file in order to reproduce the error that you are seeing. I was not aware that BiblioSpec knew how to read .pdresult files, but my information is probably out of date.

Here is the list of file formats that BiblioSpec knows how to build libraries from:
https://skyline.ms/wiki/home/software/BiblioSpec/page.view?name=BlibBuild

You can build a library from a .msf file without needing a .pdresult file.

If you send me the file "NEW TBBC_file.pdresult" I might be able to figure out what is going wrong.

Thanks Nick.
I have been getting the same error, when only using .msf file.
Here, I have used both files (.msf and .pdresults) and both are included in the error.
Can you please share the .blib file with me?

Pouya

This is the .blib file that I made from "New TBBC_file.pdresult":
https://skyline.ms/_webdav/home/support/file%20sharing/%40files/pamrollahaI_test.blib

It sounds like you meant to attach some more files to this support request, but no files were attached. This often happens if the files are too large.
You can upload those new files to the same spot:
https://skyline.ms/files.url
