Input of GC-MS SIM data Joerg  2020-01-21 07:10

Hi,
i want to import SIM-data from our GC-MS from Agilent. However, i repeatedly get the following error message upon import of the runs:

Failed importing results file 'C:\Daten\Skyline\GC\Allopregnanolone\10µmolar A -sim.D'.
Invalid chromatogram ID SIM SIC Q1=215.15 start=5.087066667 end=14.497416667 found. Failure parsing m/z values.

Could it be that my transition list is flawed or i this a problem of the import file structure?

Many thanks in advance!

Joerg

Hi Joerg,

I don't think you're doing anything wrong - I think there's a problem with Skyline.

May I see your transition list and the 10µmolar A -sim.D file so I be sure I understand the problem, and be certain of the fix? You can upload them to http://skyline.ms/files.url or we can arrange something private if you prefer.

Thanks for using the Skyline support board,

Brian Pratt

Hi Brian,
sorry for the delay! I uploaded the TransitionList_GC_SIM.csv (german computer system, so decimal separators are ",") and the data "PS6.D" as a zip file.
Hope this helps!
Many thanks
Joerg

Thanks for the files. As I suspected, there was an issue with Skyline. We'll get this fixed for the next Skyline-Daily.

Best regards,

Brian
