Hi

we are trying to install both Skyline daily and 4.2version but we failed to install it on the control computer of Sciex 5600 since we would like to do MRM analysis using Skyline. The error page is captured in the attach.

This is most commonly due to something in your networking that is not allowing the setup.exe to access the URL in the message. I would try the following:

  • Try simply directing a web browser at the URL (ending in .application) in your message, taking setup.exe out of the installation. This often works.
  • Try to debug the networking issue by seeing if this error is unique to the one computer or all computers around it and go from there.
  • Install one of the options that do not depend on networking, like the "Unplugged" or "Administrator" installers. You should be able to find links for these on the main installation pages for Skyline 4.2 and Skyline-daily.

Hope this helps. Thanks for your efforts to get Skyline installed on your system.
